Say no to war, Anti-war talk and photo exhibition

Today, on August 10, in the commemoration of the Hiroshima- Nagasaki week, an Anti-war talk was conducted followed by a photograph exhibition. The talk was presided by our dear principal. Dr. K.Y.Benedict sir who held difference in opinion in naming the talk as anti war and not love friendly.  The talk was headed by Dr, Thomasukutty P.G., Vice- Principal, Mar Gregorius Law College, Nalanchira. He could effectively enlighten us regarding the horrors of war approaching it from a law perspective. The chief guest inaugurated the photo exhibition which consisted of the photographs that reflected the poignant realities of war in people's lives. It was yet another wonderful day at college where we could receive a group of school students from the schools nearby, mainly from Sarvodaya schools. The children could keenly observe the issues resulted to war. As the representatives future of our country, they need to realize the importance of peace and they need to negate the existence of hatred. Children wrote very positive comments in their feedbacks making us really happy.

Looking forward to more happy days at college.

 Yet another happy day which started off with Gandhi Dharshan programmes inaugurated by Dr. Jacob Pulikken, Director, Gandhi Dharshan. The programme began with a beautiful dance programme of std 7 kids which was a colourful one.Another Student , Abhinav dressed up as Gandhiji, who let us remember the importance of his eternal thoughts of truthfulness and non violence.The guest was welcomed by the Head Mistress of St Gorettis HS, Sr Acquina. DIAGNOSTIC TEST

A diagnostic test was held for the students which is a form of test where teachers can evaluate students' strengths, weaknesses, knowledge and skills before their instruction. These assessments are typically low-stakes and usually don't count for grades. Most of the students were present for the test. In contrast with the achievement test, diagnostic test used the grammar portions only to check the students. Most of the students performed very well in the test securing good marks.
