THE END.....

Image
And thus the final day at St Goretti's HS also passed by giving a whole lot memories, experiences, both bitter and sweet. It is not only the end of the teaching practice, this day nearly marks the end of the main part of the B.Ed course. Though it makes me sad, there is a whole lot to cherish, the moments shared with fellow student teachers, the hard earned chemistry with students, the participation in various activities at school, time spent with lovable teachers and especially the head mistress, who is deeply good at heart. Received N number of feedbacks from my students which make myself proud as an aspiring teacher and above all a kind human being. I left the place with contentment. Thank you my dear children!

DIAGNOSTIC TEST

A diagnostic test was held for the students which is a form of test where teachers can evaluate students' strengths, weaknesses, knowledge and skills before their instruction. These assessments are typically low-stakes and usually don't count for grades. Most of the students were present for the test. In contrast with the achievement test, diagnostic test used the grammar portions only to check the students. Most of the students performed very well in the test securing good marks.

Achievement test

After the completion of portions, the curriculum demands an achievement test, which is well-constructed to give both the teacher and students an appraisal of their respective achievements. It provides teachers with invaluable information regarding students' needs, abilities, and a measure of how well the students have met the course objectives. Accordingly, an achievement test was conducted for my 9 A students today, out of 25 marks. The duration of the test was 40 minutes. The test covered the portions like The Race, Learning the game, Bang the drums and Maternity. The test consisted of questions from different difficulty levels.  Achievement test was conducted well, with the co-operation of the students.

Feast day 😊😊😊 a sweet one too...

Yet another happy day at St. Goretti's HS. Today, as it was the feast day, as tokens of love, flowers were exchanged among the dear sisters. We could also be a small part of the feast day celebration by gifting the Headmistress a bouquet of flowers, handmade by Sister Jisha. The sisters gave us carrot cake, which added to the sweet memories at the school. Happy Feast Day!

Another Day...

A new grammar portion was taught in class. The class actively and effectively participated in all grammar oriented activities. The basic understanding regarding the difference between subject and predicate was critically structured which helped them to learn NP and VP easily. The interest  of the students was sustained effectively with the help of engaging entry activity and ICT.

THE FINAL OPTIONAL OBSERVATION😊
