Beyond the catch of Covid

 Hey❤️ It has been a long time.... Thought of getting rid of my burden but again the choice was not mine... There came COVID to interrupt everything😊 As I was not expecting anything better, I am not heartbroken😅 but yes it hurts... The new variant proved strong😑 it was really a hard time... At times I had the thoughts of bidding the final goodbye to everyone.. Come On ...it was that hard to get over those four days... anyway... hard times are a matter of past... there are good times coming up... As far the classes are concerned... We had dear Satyalekha mam taking up Erickson’s Psychosocial theory of development which was dealt promptly. Next hour was optional where our dear Meekha mam dealt with Unit plan . Simultaneously, we could deal with the seminars too. The last hour was taken up by dear Dona mam where we could continue with the Intelligence portions. The classes are perfectly happening... But all are really worried about the spread of covid which is startling. Everybody is literally helpless... Let the new year give us new hopes to get out of the horrors of the disease.

Amidst the Gandhian Thoughts

 Yet another happy day which started off with Gandhi Dharshan programmes inaugurated by Dr. Jacob Pulikken, Director, Gandhi Dharshan. The programme began with a beautiful dance programme of std 7 kids which was a colourful one.Another Student , Abhinav dressed up as Gandhiji, who let us remember the importance of his eternal thoughts of truthfulness and non violence.The guest was welcomed by the Head Mistress of St Gorettis HS, Sr Acquina. As teacher trainees, we could offer our selfless help to ensure proper co-ordination of the programme.Student Police Cadets also contributed well for the programme. Looking forward to more programmes in the last phase at this school.

DIAGNOSTIC TEST

A diagnostic test was held for the students which is a form of test where teachers can evaluate students' strengths, weaknesses, knowledge and skills before their instruction. These assessments are typically low-stakes and usually don't count for grades. Most of the students were present for the test. In contrast with the achievement test, diagnostic test used the grammar portions only to check the students. Most of the students performed very well in the test securing good marks.
