The Second day!

 The day at college started with the Assembly. I could rush through my school memories of  2013, the last year at school were Assembly was a part of the routine. Coming back to the assembly at MTTC, Malayalam people who conducted it today indeed did a great job. They could set a model in the systematic way of arranging people and programmes. The segment which I liked the most in their programme was the campus news which presented a productive platform to criticise the college. Their association name, Pragathi was revealed by the Principal. New students including myself got another opportunity to introduce ourselves. With regard to academics, we had Optionals as the first period where I could meet our mam Ms Meegha who seemed very nice. Giby mam and Maya mam engaged our class with Educational Psychology and Educational Philosophy respectively. While the former dealt with the features of  psychology, the latter explored the nuances of music therapy while dealing with the definitions of education. After the library hour where we planned regarding the class beautification, Joju Sir engaged us with some thoughtful conversation while instructing us on the usage of technology in education. The last hour was spent for cleaning the class room which was really interesting as we could share our work being happy. The day was better😊

Amidst the Gandhian Thoughts

 Yet another happy day which started off with Gandhi Dharshan programmes inaugurated by Dr. Jacob Pulikken, Director, Gandhi Dharshan. The programme began with a beautiful dance programme of std 7 kids which was a colourful one.Another Student , Abhinav dressed up as Gandhiji, who let us remember the importance of his eternal thoughts of truthfulness and non violence.The guest was welcomed by the Head Mistress of St Gorettis HS, Sr Acquina. As teacher trainees, we could offer our selfless help to ensure proper co-ordination of the programme.Student Police Cadets also contributed well for the programme. Looking forward to more programmes in the last phase at this school.

DIAGNOSTIC TEST

A diagnostic test was held for the students which is a form of test where teachers can evaluate students' strengths, weaknesses, knowledge and skills before their instruction. These assessments are typically low-stakes and usually don't count for grades. Most of the students were present for the test. In contrast with the achievement test, diagnostic test used the grammar portions only to check the students. Most of the students performed very well in the test securing good marks.
